Message: Lead Pastor Mike Nedelko

  • Open your Bibles to Numbers 11 and follow along as Pastor Mike continues his series, "Moving Through: Following God in the Wilderness". In last week's sermon, we learned that God speaks to us & leads us in the wilderness. We can learn from Him & follow Him in the wilderness.
  • In his second sermon, "God Will Take Care of You", Pastor Mike acknowledges that we are in a type of wilderness during this current reality of COVID-19. Turning to the ancient book of Numbers, written over 3000 years ago, we can learn from the testing, trial, and training that God walks the Israelites through.
  • We encourage you to dive deeper into this message by downloading the corresponding Study Guide that Pastor Mike has created for this message. You can find it below under Resources.
  • Don't have a Bible? Follow along HERE. Please reach out to us at 306.825.4444 and we will drop a Bible in your mailbox this week!

Pray along with Pastor Mike as he opens his message:

"Father in Heaven,

I thank you for your blessing in our lives; that you care for us even when it's difficult and challenging.

I pray for church family members that are going through difficult times right now:

  • some that are experiencing loss,
  • some that are in the hospital & with sickness,
  • others that are isolated in quarantine,
  • some that are unemployed.

Lord, you know the situations of everyone that's watching this video and I pray that your Word would speak a real and living message to them today as they watch this.

And so, we come to you, teach us Lord, train us as we navigate this wilderness together.

We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen."

prayer

Let's join together in pray for those who are experiencing financial strain and those who are decision-makers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Dear Jesus,

We thank you for your faithfulness in how you have guided and equipped people in their jobs and have provided in the past. It can be scary and overwhelming not knowing how bills and obligations will be met. As many of us feel financial strain during the uncertainty, bring your comfort and peace, reminding us that you are here. Provide for us in our times of need.

We seek your wisdom daily. Be with people making decisions that affect the lives and futures of our families, communities, countries, and the wider world. We pray that they communicate clearly, truthfully, and calmly - with each other and with the public - and that their messages are received and heeded. May truth and empathy be the touchstones of people setting policies for our protection.

In your name, Amen."

closing benediction

I pray that the God of peace will give you every good thing you need so that you can do what He wants. God is the one who raised from death our Lord Jesus, the Great Shepherd of his sheep. He raised him because Jesus sacrificed his blood to begin the new agreement that never ends. I pray that God will work through Jesus Christ to do things in us that please him. To him be glory forever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21
