  • Mike nedelko

    lead pastor

    Pastor Mike started as the Lead Pastor at NewLife in November 2018. 


    He received his B.A. from Millar College of the Bible, his M.Div. from the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. 


    Pastor Mike has over 20 years of Pastoral Leadership experience alongside of experience working in Youth Ministry, Camp Ministry, Teaching and Missions. 


    He is married to Elisa and they have four children: Zoe, Isaiah, Ezra and Ezekiel. 


    The Nedelko family enjoys outdoors, sports, travelling and eating. 


    Pastor Mike is a voracious reader and is passionate about preaching God’s word and taking the message of new life in Jesus Christ to the world. He also has a great desire to see men and women equipped to lead and serve at NewLife and across the world.

    Associate Pastor - Youth and WORSHIP

    Jon has provided oversight and direction for our worship and youth ministries since 2015. 


    Along with a passion for discipleship and music, Jon enjoys spending time with his family, drinking coffee and coaching basketball.

  • Katie Smallhorn

    director of communications

    Katie joined the NewLife staff team in December 2018.


    Over the past ten years, Katie has loved working on various teams in camp, youth, and campus ministry. In 2014, Katie became an elementary educator and taught Grade 3 for two years.


    Katie and her husband Dan returned to Lloydminster in 2016 and have two kids: Ezra and Olivia. Katie loves to read, paint, cook, and spend time with her family outside. She is passionate about creativity and community, and is grateful for the opportunity to grow and serve at NewLife!
